Principal's Message
Dear Belridge Community,
I am thrilled to share some exciting updates and achievements that have been occurring at the College this term.
Success of H2GP - We're Going to Germany! Our Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) Girls team has achieved remarkable success, and we are proud to announce that we will be representing Australia in Germany this coming August! This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff involved in this innovative project. Congratulations to Mr Chen and his team for their efforts with these students. Also, a big congratulations to our Boys team, who just missed out on the finals, coming in second.
Congratulations to Our Elite Dance Company. Our Elite Dance Company participated in the DanceLife Unite Competition at the end of May and secured second place. Additionally, they won the prestigious overall technique award. This recognition highlights the exceptional talent and commitment of our dancers. Well done to all the performers and in particular to their teacher Ms Pesti.
On 30 May 2025, we held a Staff Development Day focused on enhancing our communication and collaboration as a team. We had the pleasure of hosting Andrew Horrabin from BullShift as our guest presenter. Feedback from staff has been very positive and I think we all took a lot away from the session.
Our Year 10, 11, and 12 students have been diligently preparing for and sitting their Semester 1 exams. Attendance to exams has been very pleasing, hopefully some good results too. We have also received recent OLNA results and are actively engaged in the ADWPL program. I commend our students for their hard work and perseverance during this busy period.
Chaz Mostert Visit: Our Year 8 students participated in the Digital Thumbprint visit incursion earlier this term, and this will be followed up with a select group of Year 10 students enjoying a VIP Supercar Pit Tour. Chaz brought his Supercar to the College for all to see. It was a great morning for all involved.
Governor of Perth Visit: Later this term, the Governor of Perth will visit the College to discuss road safety and the Keys for Life campaign. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage with important community initiatives and information that could save a life.
As we continue to grow and excel, I encourage families to enrol their children as soon as possible for 2026. Having a clear picture of our numbers for next year allows the College to plan appropriately and get the best possible staff in front of our students.
Parent/Teacher Interviews: Scheduled for Wednesday, 23 July. Please note that students will have an early close at 12.35pm.
Upcoming Dates
- Staff Development Day: Monday, 21 July
- Term 3 Commences: Tuesday, 22 July
- Parent/Teacher Interviews: Wednesday, 23 July, 1.30pm – 6.30pm
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
