As we move towards the end of Semester 1, it’s important to take a moment to reflect on the values that shape our school community.  Our guiding values - Respect, Commitment, Resilience and Curiosity - are more than just words; they define how we support one another and how we behave each day.

With Semester 1 reports being released very soon, students will need to demonstrate commitment to their current goals and continue making choices that positively shape their futures. They should also remain curious - keen to learn, explore new ideas, and grow as individuals.

These values unite us as a school, shape our culture, and prepare our students for bright futures. A strong partnership between home and school plays a vital role in supporting students and helping them successfully navigate their high school journey.

Important: Year 7 Immunisations

A WA Health team will visit Belridge Secondary College from 4 to 5 August 2025 to provide Year 7 students with free, routine and recommended vaccinations. To ensure your child receives their vaccinations, please complete the online consent form now at health.wa.gov.au/adolescentconsent.

Year 7’s will be vaccinated against human papillomavirus (HPV) and diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) (dTpa).

To find out why vaccination is important to protect your child against these serious but easily preventable diseases, visit https://www.health.wa.gov.au/Articles/A_E/Adolescent-immunisation

Primary to High School Transition

Throughout Weeks 5 and 6, I attended all our Partner Primary schools to discuss the transition to high school. The students were all excited and asked lots of questions and I am excited to welcome them to the school in 2026.

If you have a child in Year 6, in our catchment area, please complete an enrolment form by the end of Term 2 - ENROL NOW!

Year 8

I am sure there were lots of Year 8 students who arrived home from C8 Camp and headed to bed early on the Friday night, as we had an action-packed three days at Woodman Point. Thank you to Chadd Richardson for organising the camp and to all the staff who attended.

Parent parking around the school

At the end of the school day there is a lot of traffic congestion around the school, please be mindful of students walking between cars and crossing the road. Please also talk to your child about road safety and the importance of wearing a helmet when riding a bike/scooter.
