Deputy Principal - Years 10, 11 and 12
Year 12 students
As we say farewell to our Year 12 students, I would like to wish them all the very best for their future endeavours. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with you this year and hope you keep us informed of your successes. I would also like to extend a huge congratulations to all our award winners at the recent Graduation ceremony. Your achievements not only make your family proud, but also the staff at our College.
ASPIRE Breakfast
Last term, we were very fortunate to have a past student, Sinead Du Toit, come and present to our Year 12 ATAR students. Sinead graduated from Belridge Secondary College in 2019 and has since gone on to study her Masters in Sports Science and is working with the U18 England Rugby team. Sinead spoke about what it takes to be successful and gave tips to our students about making the most of your time at school. We sincerely thank Sinead for giving up her time to speak with our ATAR Students.
Year 11 students
We are approaching the end of the year for our Year 11 students. There are still some requirements before students are able to leave. The final day of classes is Friday November 8, however, please see below for details of requirements:
General/VET students
Only students who have completed all required work will finish on this date. Students with work outstanding will be required to come to school in Week 6 until all required work is complete. These students will work with me in the library. Note: Attendance for these students is compulsory.
ATAR students
Exams commence Monday, 11 November 2024. Students only need to attend school for their exam times and be in full school uniform. ATAR students then return to school on Monday and Tuesday of Week 8 (after exams) and only attend their ATAR classes. This will be to:
- Receive your exam marks.
- Get valuable feedback.
- Check if your marks are correct.
- Other periods on these days will be in the Library if between ATAR classes.
The Exam Timetable

Year 10 Students
It is great to see so many Year 10 students starting to work out their future plans. With students actively seeking career and study opportunities, it shows there is a real desire to commence the next phase of their lives. Key decisions being made:
- Selecting an ATAR pathway for direct access into University
- Exploring external VET Courses for TAFE or further study options
- Apprenticeships or Traineeships for next year, where they will get paid to study
Meetings are held regularly with students to help establish a successful pathway. Further information can be found by visiting the Careers Hub at school or seeing Mr Cheeseman to discuss subjects and pathways.
Important!
If students are not planning on returning to Belridge Secondary College in 2025, it is vital families contact the school to inform us of this. This may require some documentation to be completed and prevent billing the students. This also assists us in planning classes for next year. Please notify us if your child is either:
- Changing schools.
- Going to TAFE
- Starting full-time employment
- Studying elsewhere
We thank you in advance.
Mr Louis Cheeseman
