Year 10 ADF Award Winners 2024

Winners were announced at our recent Year 10 assembly and presented with their award by Mr Louis Cheeseman - Deputy Principal. Congratulations to the following Year 10 students on winning the ADF Long Tan Leadership Award and ADF Future Innovator’s award for 2024.  Each student will receive a prize of $250.

ADF Long Tan Leadership Award 2024 

The ADF Long Tan Leadership Award recognises a student who demonstrates leadership and teamwork within both the school and broader community. In order to receive this award, the student must display strong values, respect for self and for others.  

ADF Future Innovators Award 

The ADF Future Innovators in STEM Award recognises a student who demonstrates motivation and innovation in the areas of STEM within the school, and who displays strong personal ethics.

Nominations open in August of each year for Year 10 and 12 students - will you be next year's award winners?

Sporting Success

Trent Yates (Year 9) and Tiarna Burton (Year 7) recently represented SSWA in the Touch Rugby National Championship in Cleveland, Queensland late October.  It was the first time that the SSWA Touch Rugby teams came away with podium finishes with both the U15 Boys Team and U12 Girls Team winning bronze medals, behind Queensland and New South Wales.  Congratulations to you both!
