Moore River & Lancelin Camps:
An Unforgettable Adventure!

For two action-packed weeks in October, our Year 11 Outdoor Education students embarked on TWO epic camps! Divided into two groups, they soaked up the sun, surf, and thrill of the great outdoors.

Moore River Magic

We arrived at Guilderton and set off on an adventure-fuelled day of fishing and canoeing on the serene Moore River. As the sun dipped, we strolled along the beach, feeling the salty breeze, and refuelled with a hearty feast.

Lancelin Surf Frenzy

Next stop: Lancelin, where Surfing WA helped us catch some gnarly waves! The first camp faced a whopping 4-metre swell, perfect for mastering white water skills. The second camp brought offshore winds and coveted green waves – and yes, our students rode them like pros! Witnessing their beaming smiles and infectious laughter as they broke free from daily routines was pure gold.

A Huge thanks to our awesome Year 11's for two unforgettable camps!

Netball - Westcoast Fever Cup

On Wednesday, 23 October 2024, Belridge Netball Academy travelled to Gold Netball Centre to compete in the West Coast Fever Specialist Schools Cup. This is the first time we have competed in this Carnival, between all the specialist Netball Schools, so the competition is extremely high.

Year 9 Belridge Netball Academy students in action!

Eight teams participated from Years 7 to 10, with each year group having two teams. The Year 7, 8 and 9 groups had 3 divisions for each year group, where we had one team in two of these. The Year 10’s had just one division, hence both of our teams being in the same division. All teams played a minimum of four games over the day, with the Year 10’s playing seven in total! Each team had at least one win with most teams having multiple wins.

The day wrapped up with some fantastic results, and students should be extremely proud of where our Academy is currently placed and where we are headed for the future.

YEAR 7
Division 1 - Cup Winners
Division 2 - 2nd Place
YEAR 8
Division 1 - Cup Winners
Division 2 - 5th Place
YEAR 9
Division 1 - 2nd Place (by 1 goal)
Division 2 - 3rd Place
YEAR 10
Overall Division Cup Winners

Belridge Netball Academy walked away with three West Coast Fever Specialist Cup awards for Years 7, 8 and 10, which is a huge achievement.

Some of the schools we played against and defeated were Warwick SHS, Darling Range Sports College, Atwell, Harrisdale, Governor Stirling and Aranmore.

The students in our Netball Academy displayed not only excellent skills and sportsmanship over the day, but also umpired professionally when asked.  This is a huge help and lends itself to the day to running as smoothly as it did.

Thank you to everyone involved and bring on the 2025 Cup!
