A select group of talented Year 10 Science students recently participated in the State Science and Engineering Challenge held at Claremont Showgrounds. Students worked in teams to solve various problems through creating and building solutions within restricted time, given limited resources. Volunteers from University of Newcastle, UWA, Murdoch University, Australian Defence Force, Australian Navy, Australian Army and Rotarians were all involved in mentoring and supporting students through the challenging situations. Students demonstrated creativity and ingenuity as they tackled perplexing tasks. Belridge SC ranked a very credible 5th amongst all schools participating on the day. Congratulations to all involved.
