Champion Schools Volleyball Competition

On Wednesday 10th May, Belridge Secondary College participated in the Champion Schools Volleyball Competition which was held at the Warwick Stadium. We had two senior girls’ teams representing the College and they competed in ‘B’ and ‘C’ division. The ‘C’ Division Senior Girls’ team played with determination and unwavering enthusiasm and are to be commended on the way they represented the College. The girls successfully won 4 out of 5 games and were runners-up in their division. This was a great effort and one that the College and the girls themselves should be very proud of. The ‘B’ Division Senior Girls’ team displayed some extremely high quality volleyball throughout the tournament, playing against some formidable competition. They won 1 out of their 3 round games and went on to win their 5th position play-off game. Even though we finished 5th overall, it’s a fantastic result and one that the students should be ecstatic with. The students represented Belridge in an outstanding fashion and I am extremely proud of the way the students played and behaved on the day. A massive well done to all students involved.

Year 10 Girls Soccer Lightning Carnival

On Thursday 9 May, Belridge Entered two teams in the girls soccer lightning carnival. The girls put in a stellar effort against four other schools. The highlight of the day being when two Belridge teams played each other! There was a lot of laughter and giggles and awesome defence. We were the only school with two teams and no substitues so they were on the run for a total of 3 hours.  Great effort girls!  And to quote the other schools "Belridge is the friendliest school" - you represented us so well.
