I am sure you will agree Term 1 has been action packed around the College and with it only being an 8 and a half weeks term it has flown by! As we approach the school holidays I would like to wish all families a safe and enjoyable break. The holidays are a perfect time to check in with your child to see how they have progressed so far this school year and to set goals for the upcoming term. Schooling is a partnership between staff, the student, and parents so if you have any questions or concerns it is important to reach out and communicate with staff at the school early for support.

NAPLAN

All Year 7 and 9 students who have undertaken NAPLAN over the past couple of weeks should be incredibly proud of the positive can-do attitude they approached each test with. All students tried their best and used their time effectively to complete each test and did not give up when it became challenging. For any students who have missed a NAPLAN test, there are catch-up sessions occurring at school until Monday, 25 March 2024. Results will be released to schools and distributed to families in Term 2.

Parents Evening

All Year 7 parents have received their child's progress reports and are invited to attend school on Wednesday, 27 March 2024 for the Parent/Teacher evening. There is also a Welcome BBQ and tours available on the night for parents.  I look forward to seeing you there!

School Uniform

As the weather begins to cool an important reminder to all families to review the College Uniform Policy on our website: https://belridgecollege.wa.edu.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/UNIFORM_POLICY_UPDATED_DEC21.pdf . Students cannot wear hooded jumpers to school during colder months and jumpers should be plain navy. Thank you for your continual support in making sure students meet the uniform expectations.
