Fashion Design - Staff Spotlight
Kristie Wintle
Fashion Design Coordinator
I'm a highly experienced teacher who has worked across The Arts and Technologies predominantly in fashion and textiles, within a diverse range of schools in Western Australia, for many years.
I love working with teenagers, who thrive within a rich curriculum of creative hands on experiences and practical guidance. I am passionate about fostering a growth mindset and providing a warm, engaging and dynamic learning environment. I encourage my students to take creative risks and showcase their talents, following an idea through to the creation of something truly unique.
From watching our Year 7's experience the satisfaction of threading a machine for the first time, to the thrill of seeing the Year 12's put on a runway graduate collection, I am grateful for the moments of joy that I am privileged to witness in the Fashion room every day.
Students in Years 4-6 can come and get a taste of what it is like to be in our Fashion Design program on Wednesday, 27 March at our Student Course Taster Morning. Registrations essential - details here:
