Belsurf 2024
Congratulations to the students of Belridge Secondary College for their outstanding attendance, participation, and exemplary sportsmanship at our school's recent Belsurf Carnival. Prior to the carnival Perth was experiencing a heat wave. On the day the weather was more comfortable, but the swell was up. The conditions did not hinder the students with attendance and participation excellent.
The carnival was a remarkable display of talent, determination, and teamwork. Our students showcased their skills and abilities in the water and on the beach sand. It was truly inspiring to witness the passion and dedication they exhibited throughout the events. The House system also gave the students greater incentive to perform for their team.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the students who participated in the Belsurf Carnival, your presence and active involvement made the event a resounding success. Your commitment to representing your House with pride and integrity is commendable.
I would also like to acknowledge the teachers and staff who supported and manage our students, your expertise, encouragement, and unwavering commitment have been invaluable in nurturing the talents of our students and helping the carnival run smoothly.
Beyond the physical aspect of the Belsurf Carnival, the event also provided valuable lessons. Our students learned the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and resilience. They demonstrated respect for their fellow competitors and displayed a true sense of camaraderie in Houses.
In closing, I would like to reiterate my heartfelt congratulations to the students of Belridge Secondary College for their outstanding attendance, participation, and good sportsmanship at the Belsurf Carnival.
