Road Safety
With the start of the new academic year upon us, it is a timely reminder to talk with your child and reiterate the basics of crossing the road safely.
- Don’t assume the driver has seen you.
- Look both ways.
- Cross only at designated pedestrian crossings.
- Avoid crossing at the front or back of buses and large vehicles.
- Don’t be distracted by your phone and remove headphones before crossing a road.
- Always look-out before you step out.
- Plan ahead - so you are not rushing to catch the bus.

Please follow the basic rules of stop, look, listen and think and most importantly stay safe.
