Perth Wildcats Coaching Clinic
A number of our keen basketball players from Belridge Secondary College and Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre got a special treat on Wednesday, 25 October when they were visited by two players from the Perth Wildcats. Students made their way to the gym where Belridge Secondary College teacher Mr Brinkworth (a former State Basketball League player and coach) ensured they were warmed up and ready before Mr O’Neil arrived with the special guests.
New addition to the Wildcats line-up - AND FORMER BELRIDGE SECONDARY COLLEGE STUDENT - David Okwera was joined by 3 x NBL League MVP Bryce Cotton as they guided the students through some basketball drills and fun activities. Toward the end of the session the visiting players spent time signing autographs and taking photos with the keen Wildcats fans.

Athletics Carnival 2023
The Athletics Carnival took place on Thursday, 19 October 2023 at the WA Athletics Stadium. Overall, Belridge Secondary College was ahead most of the day but unfortunately was pipped by the smallest of margins, however, we will go up to C Grade for next year.
Belridge Secondary College placed 3rd overall and was the recipient of the Meritorious School Award. A special mention to Sophie Williams (Year 9) our athletics star who won Champion Girl again for her age group.
Students represented our school with pride and were very well behaved. Thank you especially to Tarryn Hunt and Conor Moldrich for their work with students on the day and prior to in the run-up to this event.
Congratulations to all on a fantastic effort.
