Deputy Principal - Middle School
Term 3 seems to have flown by with many exciting events occurring around the school. I hope you have time during the school holidays to relax and make memories with your children ready for an action-packed Term 4.
Enrolments
We are now planning for 2024 and beginning to organise classes. Therefore, if you currently have a child in Year 6, in our intake area, and would like them to attend Belridge Secondary College next year, please complete and submit an enrolment form at our reception as soon as possible. Either collect our pack from one of our partner primary schools or from our reception. It is essential to have your child enrolled now so they do not miss out on important Transition Days and the Orientation Day planned during Term 4.
Buses
A reminder to all students that when they are travelling to and from school to remember our school values: Respect yourself, Respect each other and Respect the environment. Transperth has recently informed us that behaviour from a few of our students has not been reflective of these values. Transperth has asked us to share their expectations of all patrons when using their services; see https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Contact-Us/Fines-and-Infringements
Please have a conversation with your child regarding behaviour on the buses and let us know if you have any concerns.
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle - Can you help?
On Saturday 21 October, we will be holding a sausage sizzle at Bunnings Joondalup to raise money for the C8 camp in 2024 for all Year 8 students (currently Year 7 students). Alison Zarrop (Year 7 Coordinator) will be sending out more information and calling for volunteers in the coming weeks. All money raised goes directly to support students so please put your name down to help out on the day.
