Semester Two - Timetables
All students will receive their Semester Two timetables when we return for Term 3 on Monday 17, July. There will be a special 10-minute Form period at the start of the day. Students late to school will need to collect their Semester 2 timetable from the office.
Year 11 and 12 - Semester Two
Semester Two for Year 11 and 12 students commenced on Monday, 12 June. The final day for Year 12 students is Friday, 13 October (14 week semester), followed by their external ATAR examinations. Year 11 students finish on Friday, 10 November (18 week Semester), followed by their school examinations.
Students should reflect on their Semester One performance and set goals for Semester Two. This involves critically analysing work and study routines, both at school and home. Assess the use of their Student Planner and importantly having a study schedule. Spending time planning reduces anxiety and gives students confidence that they have a pathway to achieve their goals. We all know that no goal setting and no planning generally achieves no results. These are not only skills and attributes for school but also valuable in life.
University Presentations
Mr Mouritz has organised representatives from the universities to present information sessions to the Year 12 ATAR students. These sessions have been held during lunch and Period 5 on selected Wednesdays. We hope information presented within these sessions will help guide the students in decisions post Year 12.
