Staff Farewells
It is with great sadness that we temporarily farewell one of our Education Assistants, Angela Ord. Angela's calm, patient, generous, thoughtful and highly professional nature has impacted staff and students alike. She started at Belridge as a relief EA, and we quickly added her to our EA team. Her knowledge of disability is expansive, and she is always willing to upskill herself, attending Professional Learning opportunities on a regular basis and sharing her gained expertise upon her return. Angela has worked with students from Year 7 through to Year 12, with a range of disability and learning difference. She has put herself forward for diverse and challenging opportunities, spending time collating data, creating resources, revising planning and establishing monitoring systems for some of our most vulnerable young people. She has recently joined our MACQLIT group where she's been delivering intensive literacy remediation to a number of Year 8 students. Angela is a valuable member of our Inclusive Education Team, and she will be dearly missed by the Belridge community.
Angela, we thank you for your outstanding commitment to delivering successful learning outcomes for BSC students, and for your collegiality amongst BSC staff.
