State Bodyboarding Championships

Blair Hille (Year 10) recently participated in the state bodyboarding championships in Margaret River.  Blair progressed into the first round of the final heats competing in the U18's with some very large waves. He had to compete in the U18's as there were not enough competitors in his own age group.

Overall, Blair came 5^th, which is an amazing effort. He paddled out on the same waves a professional bodyboarder would tackle and held his own. The professionals even commented that the surf was huge. Blair now has the knowledge of how the scoring and priority systems work and is excited to put in the work and aim to take out the championship next year.
