Being off season it has been a bit quiet on the cricket front, but with the season fast approaching we certainly have a lot of things upcoming starting with our Year 7 Cricket Camp in Week 4 of Term 3 to look forward to.  Recently though, some Belridge cricket students represented WA in the National Indoor Cricket Championships in Melbourne.  All of the WA teams from Under 18’s, 16’s and 14’s made the finals and performed very well, which led to 3 students making Australian representative sides after the tournament.  Big congratulations to all involved, names as follows:

Out of these students Ethan Benson, Coen Davies and Shaan Darji made their respective age groups All-Stars teams - which was an amazing achievement!

Unfortunately, only the girls were able to win their age groups Grand Final with Eliza O’Connor and Delilah Haggas showing off the winners shield (pictured).

In more news, another notable mention to last year’s graduating Belridge cricket student Cooper Connolly who is being sent to the sub-continent next month with a select few cricketers in Australia to be involved in a specific training Academy for the next batch of future Australian cricket hopefuls.  Good Luck Cooper - we are watching you closely!
