Reporting & Parent/Teacher Meetings

Semester 1 reports will be emailed as below:

Please review and discuss your child’s progress, celebrate areas of achievement/progress, and implement strategies for areas requiring improvement.

A Parent/Teacher meeting is scheduled for Thursday 30 June from 3.30 – 6.30pm.

Please book interview times with your child’s teachers to further discuss your child’s progress.

Year 11 & 12 Semester 2

Semester 2 for year 11 & 12 students commenced on Monday 13 June. Final day for Year 12 students is Friday 14 October (14 week semester), followed by their external ATAR examinations. The Year 11 students finish on Friday 11 November (18 week semester), followed by their school examinations.

Students should reflect on their Semester 1 performance and set goals for Semester 2. This involves critically analysing work and study routines, both at school and home. Assess the use of their Student Planner and importantly having a study schedule. Spending time planning reduces anxiety and gives students confidence that they have a pathway to achieve their goals. We all know the no goal setting and no planning generally achieves no results. These are not only skills and attributes for school but also valuable in life.

University Presentations

Mr Mouritz has organised representatives from the universities to present information sessions to the Year 12 ATAR students. These sessions are been held during lunch and P5 on selected Wednesdays. We hope information presented within these sessions will help guide the students in decisions post Year 12.
