The OLNA (Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment) is administered each year in March and September, to students in Years 10-12 who are yet to meet the minimum literacy and numeracy standards described in the Australian Core Skills Framework.  Students can pre-qualify by achieving Bands 8-10 in Year 9 NAPLAN. For students sitting the OLNA, achieving Category 3 in each of numeracy, reading and writing assessments is a pre requisite for achieving the WACE at the end of year 12.

Round 1 of OLNA 2021 commences on Tuesday, March 2nd. As NAPLAN was cancelled last year, the School Curriculum and Standards Authority made the OLNA available to Year 9 students, allowing some the opportunity to pre-qualify for this year’s round.
