Paver Wanted 

Several learning areas across Belridge Secondary College are coming together to re-develop an area of garden in the school grounds into a Bush Tucker Garden.

The project supports the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework and the WA Cross-Curriculum priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures. Students are excited to be involved in measuring the space, drafting the plans, project management, plant selection, recipe research and complimentary art projects.

A huge thank you to Cascada for their kind donation and delivery of concrete rounds which will be decorated and form part of the path through the garden.

We have enough pavers to complete the 1 metre wide path, however, as it is to wind through the 46 metre long garden bed, the job is too large for our D&T students.

We are therefore asking if any experienced pavers in our wonderful school community are willing to donate their time for free to complete this paving job, so that we can progress to the next step of the project.
